She practiced addition by playing hopscotch.
She picked up my notepad and randomly started writing 3-letter words - she did more than 20. Cat, dog, pig, van, car ... whatever she thought of, she wrote it down. "Hey, Mom! I'm doing my spelling list!" She's already been reading on her own for almost a year - no issues there.
And recess/PE was our backyard swingset with her little sisters. It was put up in April, and the first couple of weeks, there was a lot of whining of "push me on the swings!" I did a few times and then refused - they can learn to pump a swing themselves. By the end of that first month, Birdie was flying high on her own (no pun intended). Magnolia took a little longer but it didn't take her more than a couple more weeks.
Welcome to kindergarten, cutie girl!
