strange morning

Posy was sick yesterday so I kept her home today while I sent Sunny off to their music class and the library with some friends. It felt strange to have Sunny gone and the rest of us home, even though it was for only about 2 1/2 hours. I noted that this is what it would be like if she were enrolled in public school ... it was almost too quiet. Sunny's attitude about schoolwork, particularly handwriting and any kind of focused attention span, needs a lot of work and frustrates me to no end. But even with that little bit this morning, I discovered that I definitely prefer her being here with the rest of us.
