the ballet

To start our next round of 100 days, Aunt T and I took the three "big" girls to The Ballet! The Hartt Community School had a ballet performance with original music of Peter Pan. We are BIG Peter Pan and Tinkerbell fans at our house, so it was a can't-miss! (Dad stayed home with Magnolia and Azalea because it was at night - we didn't get home until 10:30 pm.)

It was a great performance - the music was fantastic (wouldn't mind a CD!) and the dancing was beautiful as well. The girls were enthralled and have always wanted to dance ballet anyway, but this really nailed it for that. Birdie was quite upset at the end of the second act where Captain Hook poisons Peter - we had to talk a lot during the intermission of, "It's not over yet! There's still more, and it will end happily!"
