The favorite of the day, as always, was the sea lion show ... in a dark auditorium where no pictures turn out. Before, they've done a very scientific presentation, explaining how sea lions are actually trained to help scientists and oceanographers with various projects. This show was just silly fun - a "story" of a sneaky sea lion and trainer out to "destroy" the world but who turn into converted environmentalists by the end. Good times.

Mystic Aquarium (for the 3rd time)
With Aunt T here for the whole month of July, we thought she'd like the Mystic Aquarium. She was the brave one to first pet the little alligator. Sunny and I pet it too, but the younger girls wouldn't touch it. The belugas are always beautiful. The penguins have been very quiet every time we've visited this aquarium - we've seen them at other locations much more active and fun to watch than these. So no pictures of the penguins. We checked our height compared to sharks.
