Hurricane Isaac

This morning, it wasn't here yet. It was in Louisiana. The sky was cloudy on my part of the house (looking out the window). This afternoon, it was here. The sky is cloudy but cars and trucks are still going on the road. It's windy and rainy but light, not hard.
Th. 30 August
It was raining regular all day long. We did not lose our power but some people from our church did like Sister Holmes. Mom let us go outside in the rain but I didn't want to get my clothes wet so I stayed in. Birdie played outside and got soaked.
Fri. 31 August
It was sunny and not so windy. In the afternoon, there was rain rain rain! There was lots of wind and loud loud thunder and lightning. Mom would not let us go outside to watch the storm but we watched from the inside of the house. It didn't last a long time.

Thanks for sharing what the hurricane was like for you. I've been gone for the last couple of weeks so I just had a chance to read this tonight. I'm proud of you.
