I know ... I haven't written anything for weeks ... still getting adjusted to having 5 kids. We're getting there, but it does take a lot of face time which means there's little to no writing time. We're also getting ready to move to Connecticut - on the 16th, the movers will be here to pack us up! We'll have about 6 weeks living in a temporary situation while we wait to close on our house, and then move into our OWN HOUSE the last weekend in June.
School is the usual - plugging away at math assignments and Sunny learning the addition tables (accompanied by a boatload of Bad Attitude), Sunny and Posy both avoiding like the plague practicing any kind of handwriting at all (they even whine when I tell them they just have write their own names and I'll transcribe the rest of their letter/story/whatever), reading A LOT on every subject you can think of, and playing outside and chasing little green lizards. We started on some sewing lessons. They would play computer games all day long if I'd let them, mixed in with watching movies.
I've been thinking a lot about entirely restructuring the way we do pretty much everything, but it's all very jumbled up in my head and nothing is coherent. Maybe if I do a brain dump into another post, things will start to sort themselves out. Writing is good for me like that.

Have you tried letting them write on windows with those fancy crayola window markers?
My little miss is much more motivated to write when she gets to choose a fancy pen/marker.
