Me: You want our girls doing "exploratory" science? They're out back in swimsuits "making mud" and stomping in it.
AC: Awesome.
(Sunny was filling the bucket from the sprinkler, and they were using the pan from a planter pot as their mixing bowl. Then they plastered themselves with it. At the end, I had to hose them off before letting them come into the house, and they went straight into the shower.)
