flight museum

To start our fairy science "course," we went to the New England Air Museum ... (admittedly, in large part because our children's museum membership got in for free in August). We had a fun morning of sitting in a Vietnam era helicopter, dressing up in aviator and astronaut costumes, learning new things on computer games, and doing a scavenger hunt. The biggest hit was the mini airplanes to pedal around in a roped-off "arena." The museum was a little much for my tiny kids - in another couple of years, I think we'll have a much different experience there. I'm glad to know it's here and what's in it.

"Scooter" airplanes! It's a good thing there were no other kids at the museum at the same time as us, because we totally hogged these things for quite awhile.

Looks like fun. We'll have to check that out next time we're out there.
