Our co-op group in Manchester started the spring session today and our girls were So! Excited! that they were up this morning over an hour earlier than usual, and ready to go including with their coats on 30 minutes early. We had a great day - SO GLAD that we're back to class! We were happy to be out of the house for an entire day (!!!), happy to be learning new things with friends, and happy to be playing at the children's museum.
Sunny has a full slate of 4 classes - Planet Earth, Animal Classification, Young Authors (which includes a component of learning cursive writing), and geography which is targeted to prep for the Geography Bee next year.
Posy is taking the same classes as Sunny, except geography because she's not old enough for the Geography Bee for a couple more years.
Birdie, Magnolia, and Azalea are in the two preschool classes - Alphabet Stories, where we follow along with the alphabet with our books and learning to write the letters, and an art class.
I'm running like crazy - I'm teaching Alphabet Stories, co-teaching Geography Bee, and assisting with the preschool art class. I'm also dipping a toe into the administration of the co-op - the director recently asked if I'd be one of her communication backups and I'm one of the Facebook group administrators now. It's good to be a homeschool mom.
