garden work

Spring has finally arrived, so we've started to put in our garden. After getting all of our plant starts going in February and March inside the house with grow lights, the outside work began with AC tilling under the majority of our front yard. Last year, we did the garden in the back and we got hardly anything to grow - too much shade. It's great for playing because it stays cool even in the heat of the summer ... not so much for growing tomatoes. So we moved to the front. Here's laying out the ground, complete with wheelbarrow rides. The sister missionaries helped us fill the boxes with compost and get some bulbs into the ground.
