the Ecotarium

There's a science museum in Worcester MA called the Ecotarium, which isn't too far from us so we decided to check it out on AC's Friday off today. We'll have to go back in the summer because there are a lot of things to do outside that we couldn't get to because it's still too cold and there's still a lot of snow piled up. (Melt! Melt! Melt!) We enjoyed a lot of the inside activities.

Posy and the microscopes

This little bugger had balls constantly rolling down through the framework, and then riding a little chain (on the right) back up to the top to get dropped and roll down again. The girls stood there and watched it for quite a while. It was mesmerizing.

Learning about fossils and dinosaurs

Sunny and Dad checking out a terrarium. We need to finally get around to making one of our own.

The favorite - the hurricane tunnel!
