FT 11: Bronx Zoo

We wrapped up our Wildlife Conservation Society membership with a 3rd trip to the Bronx Zoo ... for a $200 membership, we made the equivalent of over $600 in visits. An excellent investment!

We spent most of our time in the children's zoo - there's a lot to climb on and read, in addition to observing the animals.

Azalea had the BEST time with the goats - she laughed and laughed the whole time.

New babies are always fun!

It was the first day of the spring season for the monorail ride and we had to wait in line for a good while. (Reminded me of Disney World.) But we like the break to sit for awhile, we like the animals in that section of the zoo (the elephants!), and hey - it's a train! When you're a kid, what's not to like?

This is how AC is greeted by the girls after 15 minutes, when he and Grandpa decided to walk to the carousel instead of taking the tram. You'd think they hadn't seen him for a year. And yes. They do this all. the. time.

Our last time on the bug carousel was a good time as always! Azalea finally got on one of the insects instead of just sitting on the bench like last fall! Carousels are one of our favorite things.
