There actually is a teeny little downside to my kids learning to read so early ... I can't skip any words - ANY - and "summarize" while reading out loud anymore. I can't even change it is to it's without being corrected immediately, before I even finish the sentence.
I know, I know. Tough life for me. It's just kind of funny.

That is because some books are just tedious and summarizing is sooooo much easier. Keep it up though.
