First day of school! First day of school!
The first thing we did this morning was decorate the fronts of composition books with scrapbooking paper to use as their notebooks for things like handwriting practice and taking notes for science experiments and drawing little pictures. Then we talked about their goals for the year.
Sunny's goals for 2013 (year 2):
1. Take a sewing class like Mom.
2. Finish 1st grade math so I can get a bike for my birthday.
3. Read The Fairy's Return.
4. Play soccer again.
Posy's goals for 2013 (year 1):
1. Finish kindergarten and 1st grade math.
2. Read Pinkalicious out loud, and Purplicious and Goldilicious and Silverlicious.
3. Learn to write.
4. Do lots of art stuff like painting and drawing pictures.
