St. Louis children's museum

Just seeing two of St. Louis's offerings for children - the zoo and the children's museum ... I could live in that city. They were fantastic.

We didn't see more than a quarter of the children's museum, The Magic House - it would have been another all-day commitment just to walk through the entire thing. We saw the town mockup with shops and a house and a library and a bank. We went through the preschool section, which kept going and going. And we briefly saw a great literature exhibit about Alice in Wonderland. There were at least 2 other floors and the outdoor gardens that we didn't even get to.

If we're ever in St. Louis again (well, while we have small kids at least), we're definitely going back. And if we ever live there, a membership is definitely on my shopping list.

the outside garden areas were gorgeous - the "backyard" area had a fantastic sculpture of children running in a circle, with a gap for our kids to join

the preschool room had the water set-up, always a favorite with my kids
