FT 2: the Brooklyn Children's Museum

On our next trip to NYC, we paid a visit to the Brooklyn Children's Museum with Grandma and Grandpa. There were some science sections with animals and a sandbox, but our favorite section was the "city life." Instead of being a typical "Main Street" with different kinds of businesses, this museum points out that New York has sections of the city settled by people from different countries and ethnicities. There's a Chinese bookstore, a music shop with costumes and instruments from the Carribean, an Italian pizza shop ... It's really cool! It was an unexpected bonus to our geography studies of the year!
